If you weren’t at the library this past Saturday, December 7th, you missed a fun day of festivities!
Highland Falls Library was one of the Holiday Hop Spots in town.
The library was packed with holly jolly patrons along with the original Holly Jolly SANTA, who arrived
first class on a fire truck! Santa was very busy visiting with the many children who came to see him. Each child even received a special holiday treat bag from him.
Finnegan and Barb, the library’s Reading with Dogs Team, was a special part of the festivities too. They greeted all the patrons (always with big, beautiful smiles) and they were special helpers for Santa.
The children had fun decorating Gingerbread Houses and making foam crafts.
Friends of the Library had a successful bake sale—SOLD OUT! Not a surprise, as they are known for their baking skills.
