RCLS Road Trip: Last Stop…Highland Falls Library

We had the honor of being the 47th (last) RCLS library to be visited by 2 excited Moffat Library Patrons from Washingtonville on August 22, 2023. The staff enjoyed talking to them about our unique Highland Falls Library and some of the programs that we offer. We also enjoyed hearing about their fun RCLS Road Trip journey.

They got to fill out the forms for their final prize–customized RCLS Road Trip t-shirts.
Congratulations to these ladies for completing the RCLS Road Trip!

Congratulations to the Kelly Family—The 1st Highland Falls Library Patrons to Complete the RCLS ROAD TRIP!

Nicole Kelly, designated Road Trip driver, brought her 9 year old son, TJ, and 7 year old daughter, Alex, to visit all 47 RCLS member libraries. They began their RCLS Road Trip at their home library, Highland Falls Library, on July 10, 2023. They completed their Road Trip on July 31, 2023 visiting Rose Memorial Library as their final destination.

According to Nicole, “This Road Trip will no doubt be one of the highlights of this summer for us. It was such an adventure seeing how unique each library was and the kids loved exploring and comparing all the different Kid Sections. Thankful this also made time for them to read as well during our travels.”

The Kellys have more than earned their RCLS Road Trip t-shirts! Well done!

It’s not too late for you to finish or even start the RCLS Road Trip. You have until September 8th to complete it. Good luck!
