The library was buzzing this past Saturday, February 1st, as children enjoyed “Take Your Child to the Library Day” where they were busy coloring a square for our Paper Quilt Project. If you didn’t get to come in to color a square, you still have time. Stop by the library and ask to color a square for the Paper Quilt Project. All the squares will be joined together to create a large paper quilt later this month and displayed in the library.
The children and adults were also able to observe or join the local stitchers for Stitch in Public Day. It was a stitching fun time at the library!
The children (and some parents) had the fun opportunity to sit and read a book to Finnegan in the mystery room or in the reading area upstairs.
The current Community Puzzle at the Library was close to being finished by the time the library closed on Saturday. Stop by this week and add the remaining pieces to complete the puzzle.
These were just a few of the wonderful activities happening at the library. Stop by or check out our website for information on more of our fun programs and events happening each month.
